Hi everyone!!
I still have not gotten my tank set up as we just got back from vacation, I haven't gotten my stand yet, and I'm still doing some last-minute research.
I THINK I have made some decisions on the type of fish I'd like in my 55 semi-aggressive tank. Please tell me what you think...and perhaps more importantly, in what ORDER I should introduce them....
Maroon clown
Flame Angel
Fuzzy dwarf Lion
Valentini puffer
If there is room, I would also like a gold-stripe maroon.
From what I have read, the puffer and lion SHOULD get along ok if I introduce the lion first...right? And also, I have read each of the fish are hit or miss with corals. I'll just have to wait and see what their personality tells me and maybe experiment with some zoos...
Thanks for your help!

Since you are asking for my "opinion" I will provide mine.....personally I'd either go aggressive or not....I don't think attempts to "mix" are very successful. You mentioned plans for corals.......and seem intent on keeping fairly aggressive fish species....it can work I suppose but there are provblems associated with compatability as well as filtration.
So....my opinion is go reef or go fish only or go aggressive...but personally I'd avoid attempts to combine types of systems.

Fuzzy dwarf Lion, Flame Angel, Valentini puffer, Maroon clown that is probably the order I would add them.

It will depend on how nippy the puffer is, you must watch the lions fins, this will be a sign it is being picked on by the puffer. Even if the lion is added first, the puffer may nip right away, in 6 months or 2 years, yet it may never nip at the lion. No matter how long they are together watch them it could happen with maturity.......
The lion eats shrimps, crabs & so on but not corals, it is the Puffer & Flame you want to keep your eye on. Maroons can be very aggressive and territorial, I would keep an eye on this fish also, they can pack a bite.
IMO- Stop with these four, they may seem small right now but will grow, plus it is a reef and you have a messy eater (Puffer) already & 2 waste makers (Puffer & Lion) in your reef.

I agree with both of these post but I will say if you are doing reef I would stay with less agressive tank.
