Looks great! I especially like the LR and the way you have a "bone yard look" on the right side of the tank. Would love to see it after about a year with all the new additions you must be planning. Great job so far!

oh ya.... it's a 150-gallon all glass(uro?) it was more expensive but not star-fire expensive

I bought the fiji last and like it best, go figure
oh well now I know what to do for the next tank

I have about 4-5inches of just normal non-live sand.

Sounds like you are on the right track. One suggestion for you though, don't add to many fish at once. Figure out your ultimate list of what you would like in the tank (how you want it to look), research all the inhabitants, i.e. their diets, needs, whether they place nice with others, etc. And then introduce slowly. As far as softies, you should do fine. The reason I asked the last question was, if you were going to really build a reef, you might need to arrange the LR a little different inorder to have places to attach the coral frags or colonies. Sounds like you have it all under control though. Great job and keep us posted of your progress.

It looks great. I am getting ready to start my tank too..
BUT that sandbed looks pretty deep. I heard that if you make it that deep..you have a great chance of developing problems later one once things start to build up.
Someone here recommended 2 inches and if I need more for some of the species..just put 4-5 on the side somewhere for them..but not do that deep for the whole tank.
Anyone agree? I need to know this too before I start.
The rock looks great though. Good luck you ya!!

Oh, and get a quarantine tank and quarantine all new fish for 3-4 weeks before you put in your tank. It will avoid you doing this
later on...

Could it be a plant that's growing on there? I saw one at the LFS today that had it and right beside it has plants growing on it.
