What does a frogspawn look link when splitting?

I bought this guy about 2 weeks ago and he looked like this

Now the tentecles are really extended and ar starting to branch off each other.

Is he going to split?

IMO it may split in the future, but for know is just opening up after getting comfortable in the new house.

when they split, it would form another mouth and slowly it'll separate
