Human Resource Manager for major cargo control company. You gotta love a hobby that interests people from so many backgrounds. Kudos to the kids who're trying to learn to do it right :)

im a 10th grader in many sports who is always borrowing money from parents and promising to pay it back in the summer when i work at the golf course. too bad its iowa and the courses close in the winter.
isn't it weird that all the younger people have smaller tanks? my parents rip on me all the time for asking for $$$ for fish/coral/lights. but i still keep the tank going :)

lol, Theres not many younger people around on this board! Me, I'm in ninth grade, . My dad first introduced me to fish tanks... he certainly was surprised when he realized it wasn't cheap .. so I work at Publix for extra cash which goes right to the tank. :)

Nice to see younger reefers :)

bummer hawkfish. your parents sweat you for asking for more aquarium equip. :( at least you're learning how to care for something and maintain it. on the other side, you could be asking your folks for beer and drug money, which is what a few parents (the really stoopid ones) would do. you just keep on working on the tank. make your parents proud of you and your hobby

I applied for a job as a columbian drug lord, but they said I was overqualified :p So now I drive a truck, and I'm in the process of getting my auto dealers license. I'm a car nut, so why not make some money from something I really enjoy?
Man, there's some unbelieveable jobs listed here. Makes me wish I'd stayed in school(Listen up, you youngsters!!!). Oh well, gotta do something to pay the bills(and buy fish stuff).
Very interesting thread!

I work for a company that builds and sells computers, I am a phone tech and work on the systems that come iun for repair as well.
I also run a small business out of my home building and repairing computers, one of the only people in my area that does house calls at a resonable rate.

I'm a 3rd grade teacher. I currently have a 45 gal. and hope that, as time passes, I will be able to afford another larger tank. It definitely helps to relax me after a tough day with my "kids."
