You never said much about the type of girl she might be... That is a big factor.... or how long you have been together....
The first year the honey & I had x-mas I got chocolates & CASH. (Big Hit)
The next year he knew me a little better...
I got a Dremel Tool Kit that year... (Still one of my favorite gifts)
I will say that I am not the "Norm" of what a woman wants for a gift. I want Power Tools.. (too clarify for the pervs) Table Saws, Power drills, ect...
Our 6th x-mas he gave me diamond earrings.. & I was really, really MAD... ((I told him I wanted a table saw))
If you have been together that long... Ask her & she will tell you what to get.
Bottom line... If you have been together less than 1 yr... something simple
(Unless the L word is involved)
More than 1yr & it is serious...
She expects a Ring & a Commitment
If you are married..... Ask her to list the 5 things she wants most for x-mas..
1 will be Nothing.. the rest will be something easy.. Pick one if the easy ones.
Then you had better pay close attention to ads & flyers left around the house... Check her internet history if possible.. Ask her closest friend.. She really doesn't want the first 5 on the list..........
Unless you are perfect, nothing you get will be the right thing... As nobody is perfect...... life is tricky huh..

I like presents of things we can do together. The first present my husband got me was a Jennings .22 pistol. That was 15 years ago.
This year he got me a way awesome compound bow!! I LOVE IT!! I'm little and and not wicked strong so it isn't very strong. It's a Fred Bear, Odyssey. It goes f rom 35 to 50 lbs. He originally got me the Pioneer( up tp 29 lbs pull), but then I found out you have to have at least 40 lb. to hunt turkey, so now I have the Odyseey!!
I got him a Fred Bear 70 lb. pull compound bow. That's crazy!!
Anyway- gifts you can use together are the best!!!

Earrings, a new cell phone, a weekend getaway with her best friend to a spa up north a little, and I got her one of those digital picture frames so she can take to work....
I get nothing...that I know of. I told her not to get anything since Xmas comes around all year long in my case....I am an impulse buyer when I find I have gotten a good deal....so I told her just to leave me some cash, as I want to hurry up and get my equipment so I can get my tank up and running....
I have been buying stuff all year long...ha ha ha
