What drilling holes in my rock?

right here in the reef tanks board on the ..ooohhh man who is this in my rocks thread and a couple of others search forums for eunicid worm and a list will come up

Well this thread really took off lol. I think what I am going to do is pull the rock out and just dump it. Im setting up a new tank now. As far as the conch theory, I do have one conch in there and the hole matches the size of his mouth. I really like him though so I hope thats not it. I will put the rock into a bucket of water and see if something is still in there. What sucks is its one of the big pieces of base rock at the bottom of the heap.

LR is a rock but a very soft rock. Is not like Granite to drill through. Small clams will shift themselves back and fourth and can burrow through LR no problem.

i have a few clams attached tomy lr

i have a burrowing clam that hitch hiked in and he shoots out little spirts of white particles. the hole is about the size of a pencil. if you shine a light down the hole you may be able to see something. mine looks like a tiny clam in a hole..go figure.
