Well i'm debating on a Goldentail moray,Black edge moray, and a fimbraitus moray (yellow head). So what should i go for? I'm looking for a eel that will show his sharp teeth
If your looking for plain aggression, the black-edge eel is the most aggressive IMO. You could have problems keeping any fish with one. My favorite eel is the tesselata. Love the color pattern.
hey man i have a tessa, a zebra, and a mexican dragon, all in the same tank with cleaner shrimp and starfishy's ....anyways i got some pics of them if you want to see them.......anyways if you get and eel trained on nonliving food, they will mellow out for the most part.....sometimes this is not always true but i have pics of myself grabbing the tessa's teeth   .....so if you work with them and have patience....you can train them.... they are as stupid as some people are led to beliave
Doc, I heard that same thing when I bought my Tesse, and I read that if you feed them b hand or with a feeder stick they are far less aggressive and are less likely to try and get out of the tank, the key word is PATIENCE.
Doc how long have you had your Tesse, how big is it?
