First of all, I'm learning so much from being here. Thanks to swf.com!
I have a question about how much more equipment I need for my tank.
125 gallons, 6' long
2-30watt bulbs that came with the aquarium
2-emperor 400's (one at each end) w/ biowheels that I took out
2-heaters (one at each end)
75 #'s lr
cc
3-3stripe damsels
3 beau gregors
3 yellow tail damsels
10 blue legs
3 turbos
1 large hermit crab
1 cleaner shrimp
I eventually want to add some soft corals (colt and maybe some gorgonians and feather dusters)
Love the help, thanks! :)

Probably even with soft corals you are going to need some more lighting. You might as weel spens the money and get good lightiing b/c after you get the soft corals you are going to want hard ones. Thats just how it goes in this hobby. In your tank you could get MH lighting b/c of the size or you can go with VHO depending on how deep your tank is.

The tank is 19" high and 18" deep. My lr is stacked about half way up so far....

If you are leaning toward a reef set up, definately invest in lighting before you invest in corals, and you may want to think about a skimmer and maybe a sump. If you don't already have 'em. Sumps make h2o changes, testing and any additives easier. They are also a good place to hide heaters and other stuff you don't want seen in the main tank. Also increases total water volume, making the whole system more stable.

You will be fine with VHO and over heating will not be an issue. Look at MH though you may like the way it makes your tank.

You might want to look at some circulation, a sump with return pump or powerheads. If your like me you also should consider adding an auto-top off system to replace evaporation. Do a search on DIY ones, it can be done cheap. While your still in the early stages you should consider adding more rock. You can buy Tufa or another cheaper rock and put it in, it will become live over time, or you can add more LR.
