What else to add?

Okay so I was wondering about a Refugium or sump....I have about a 20 gallon tank that is doing nothing ..can I make one? Do I need one? If so, can someone give me detailed descriptions on how to make one?
Also- what else should I add to my tank...Help me out!

About my tank:
size- 55 gallon
Penn Plex canister filter w spray bar
2 power heads
heater
4 actinic bulbs, 1 50/50, 1 white, 2 blue
about 75-80lbs of live rock
live sand- about 2-3 inches deep
xenia and kenya tree
1 diamond goby
1 algae blenny
1 niger trigger
2 clowns
1 emerald crab
snails and hermits

get yourself a good protein skimmer.
do you have a refractometer? if not, get one.
as far as the sump goes, i'd do it. its good for your system.
just buy some small glass panes, a glass cutter and some silicone. cut the panes to the size you want and silicone them in. there are many different designs you can do depending on your needs. check out melevsreef.com. he does many different designs, but he does all of his entirely out of acrylic, but you'll get some design ideas. give me a shout if you need any help, i built a sump out of a 20L a few weeks ago.

I have a good protein skimmer from when I bought the tank- I just have no idea how to put it on...I know I know

I would love to build my own sump....how would I connect it and all after building...could you send me detailed directions on how you did yours? Thanks!!! I can't wait to start it.
Oh and refractometer is on the list for sure!
