Its been a while since i have had my 75g reef but i now have a 120 rr 4'x2'x2' and am going to be building a stand for it. So i have a real good idea what i want after my experience with the old tank, but maybe you can help me add to the list of features.
1 i want the ability to access everything with out having to move the tank. i ran into problems when expanding my previous equipment, like when i bought an overflow box and it wouldnt fit between and the tank and the wall so i had to put it on the side. that was alright though since i couldnt get the sump into the stand and had to put it on the side also.
2 all equipment has to be concealed completely. i dont want to see anything. this of course conflicts with having access.
3 It needs to have enough space under the tank to hold my 40g sump and an additional refugium.
4 its got to fit through standard door openings, 30".
just looking for some advice. i am going to have a detailed build in the diy section once i get started.
