My brother has bristal worms and he wants to get rid of them. Is there a fish or invert that feeds on them? If not what could be done? :needhelp:

You mean Bristleworms ..... I've heard sixline wrasses eat them, but be aware they are good members of a cleanup crew. :D

Unless they are outragesly big and eating your corals, definetely leave em. they are great at cleaning up all the gunk in your LR and in your LS. Very beneficial for a healthy tank.

The "Yellow Banded Coral Shrimp" are also effective bristleworm hunters in the reef aquarium, helping to keep the population of these pests under control. Dont get the
Banded Coral Shrimp which is red and white for they and can destroy corals and anemones by nipping them open to feed on ingested food.

OK. Here are the creatures I know of that will do a number on the population of the bristle worms:
Most hawk fish, especially the long-nosed hawk
I believe some butterfly fish, use caution as some are not very reef safe
I know the coral-banded shrimp, purple/yellow/normal/whatever, and I think zyrus is being over paranoid about the eating corals thing. I wake up quite often to a nice chunk of bristle worm in my coral-banded shrimp's mouth and claws.
These worms are very good cleaners, but should be removed or destroyed once they get 3-4 in. in length. When they get that big, they start stinging corals and can really hurt anemones in their foot.
