what fish are safe in reefs? what fish do u all have in your reef?

I am getting ready to get another cleaner shrimp and possibly a purple tang. Is a purple tang thats 2-3" worth $100? what fish do you all recommend?

purple tangs become more agressive when they get bigger. mine could not stand other tangs of any kind.

that's not a great price. I've seen them at my lfs for $70.00 at that small size... I've seen them at ***** for even cheaper...but ur taking a chance on *****'s fish keeping ability. Anyways...it seems a little high to me.

well I bought the purple tang, they said the price of them will be going up since they come from the red sea where the war is going on. it's about 4-5" from nose to end.
got a naso tang too which I found dead this morning because my stupid wife didn't have anything on the end of a powerhead which sucked it in! we usually have bioballs stuck in the end of them
