What fish do you have?

I'm looking to get one or two smaller additional fish for my 24g Nano cube. Right now it only has a clownfish who is very sociable. When he doesn't have a friend he just acts very depressed. So Ineed something less aggresive b/c he will follow the new fish around and do whatever they do (he is like a little kid, not aggresive, just overly curious). I want to know what you guys have in your nanos and what has been doing good!

I don't know if this is the reason he said wow, but clowns usually require really long tanks(6ft) to get along with another species. What kind of clowns do have in there together?

i had a royal gramma. it beat the crap out of my clownfish so I no longer have it. Had a longnose hawkfish to, but lost it the last time the tank broke down. I'm considering getting another one though. I think I've decided on either another longnose or a midas or tailspot blenny.

I had 2 false perc's but my anenomie made a meal out of one a few days ago. I now have one false, one Royal Gramma, and one Midas Blenny in my 29 BioCube. I am ordering a Black and White Ocellaris, I have read and heard that you can mix them, but just like any species you need to watch them. So there is some risk i guess but so is having an anenomie in your tank with fish.

Yea thats the conclusion to the story. I took Bone's advise and emptied everything out of the back of my tank and put 2 flourescent lights back there, I saw nuthin. Then 1 day later the anenomie threw up what it couldnt eat of the clown. Needless to say it was evident what had happened as the debris was an orange ball with a white stripe in it. I was a tad agitated to say the least, the anenomie will find another place to reside. Hes lucky its not going to be my toilet!!

personally, jawfish. Im going on one, and after much research I've found on all other sites is that the crap about 6 in sand bed isnt necessary at all, a respected lfs around here says theirs live and act the same no matter how deep of a sandbed as long as its around 2".

nYgel im thinkin of getting one too, the only problem was the 6" sandbed. i think they are very cool to watch. but wen i go to the LFS, which the owner knows his stuff, he has like 10 jawfish in a 45 bowfront with a 2" or 2 1/2" sand bed mix with some crushed coral. he said that they will do fine in any depth, theyll find a way they can borough. but i got one question...
are u gettin a pearly jawfish or the bluespotted thats like $100?
