Need help identifying this red fish. i just bought 4 fish along with a 100g tank and liverock in the pics. The lady at my lfs was not sure either....Didn't have a pic, so all she could go on was my description. The seller called it a "fire hopper", but I did a search for that and didn't find a thing so I didn't put much stock into his name for it! The third pic just shows the "family" of clowns and another fish which I think is just a big damsel, but I might be wrong. Sorry about the clarity too. :( Help me out you guys! See ya!
Go to this site.....there are 3 pics here!

is a Scarlet Hawkfish, its peaceful and you can keep it with invertebrates my book says:
Extremely attractive fish is much sought after by aquarists and usually commands quite a high price as a consequence. It is not a good swimmer and spends much of its time resting on rocks and Gorgonians waiting to ambush small crustaceans and plankton.fortunately, it is not a threat in the home aquarium and makes an ideal community addition.
I hope this help you.

Flame hawk. In general hawks, like Trey said are mean as hell, but Im not sure about this one, never had one, had an arc eye and he was a nightmare. They will eat inverts, especially shrimp. HTH

To me they look like: Flame Hawk, Percula Clown, Skunk Clown, Blue Devil Damsel. It's sort of hard to tell from the pics.
If it is a Flame Hawk, and I really think it is, it WILL eat your inverts.
What worries me is that the woman at your LFS is selling you a fish for a new setup and she doesn't even know what it is?
Generally it's not considered adviseable to put clowns of different species in the same tank, but she sold you 2 types of clowns too. With the size tank you have you may be able to get away with it though.
Are you cycling with these fish?

it is a hawkfish.i found a pic and this info:
Hawkfishes are fine with other species as long as their tankmates are large enough to
not be eaten or eat the hawks. Sometimes they can become territorial after being in the
same system a long time (Savitt 1976). Occasional shifting, addition or removal of part
of the habitat alleviates this problem. They may chase other fishes, but rarely do any
damage. In general it is not a good idea to mix Hawkfishes for this reason.
Regarding reef systems: Be forewarned that a Hawkfish's large jaws and sharp teeth
are ideal devices for capturing crustacea. Some small species are ideal reef additions,
but they will eat crustaceans and "worms". Watch out shrimps!

For Sure a flame Hawk, can eat inverts, I have one, very peaceful towards other fish, and hasn't eaten an invert yet.....knock on wood, I'm not saying it won't happen. But mine is pretty peaceful and gets along with everyone.

just my opinon:
i try to identify first of all what i am buying, and second how to care for it.
i belive that it is unwise to put things into your system with out knowing what role it will play.
IMO
