What fish to get clean?

id get nassurous (spelling ?) snails to get the sand bed clean, and 3-5 emerald crabs to deal with the bubble algea

i just cannot believe u when you say that you can't get water....everyone in teh world has a wal mart no more than twenty minutes away from tehre house...go there and get distilled water.....

It would be worth your time and money to buy a RO/DI unit. I think they sell them on this site, if not you can get one on line.
