my levels are fine(other than nitrate) i have 8.3 PH 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and 30 nitrate so what's stresing my fish out? and i'm still cycling <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" /> <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" /> <img src="graemlins//confused.gif" border="0" alt="[confused]" /> <img src="graemlins//confused2.gif" border="0" alt="[confused2]" />

the 30 nitrate and the fact that you're still cycling could be what's stressing them out. How do you know they are stress?
also it could be other things, is there a fish that is picking on the others? do you randomly turn on the lights when the fish least expect it?
what's the temp? the salinity? there are other facts that can stress a fish out. do you have too many fish in too small an area? do they have lr or other places to hide in? Are they getting the proper diet?
Please say why you think the fish are stressed...also are we still talking about the damsels? or are there other fish?

yup still talking about my damsels and no, no other fish other than the 4 damsels but the resaon why i think they're stresing well at least 2 of them is because 2 of them don't want to move at all really and i can't find 1 of them and the 1 that i can't find was the one that was stresing out yesterday and didn't want to move yesterday and the temp is a constant 77-78*F and i'm not turning the lights on and off i have them on when i wake up and turn em off when i go to bed so they're on for about 16hrs a day and i'm feeding them pelets wich the LFS feeds em so they're used to pelets (i think) i thought about getting some brine shrimp and seeing what they do with it but i haven't been anywhere that sells it and the salinity is 1.023-1.024 (it's inbetween these 2)
so what do you guys think is making em act wierd?

wow damsels with ich. sorry to hear about your fish. i thought they could live in my toilet water without any problems.
