My husband gave me a 5 gallon hex for Christmas and the salt, etc to start a salt tank. I had mentioned that I'd like one. Got a couple of clowns and 2 snails and a little live rock and decided this was just too small.
By the 1st of the year I was cycling a 90 gallon. Later on removed the CC for sand and now the 90 is too small but don't know where to put a really big one (180-240) except to knock down the wall of his office. ha ha
Might wait until he's good and drunk and get him to knock down the wall so it's his "idea'.
It's really been a lot of learning but I've just lost one clown in the skimmer box, 2 cleaner shrimp for not mixing my salt solution well and an anemone because I was not ready for one.
Love this hobby and I feel the biggest expense is behind me now...until the huge tank comes my way!!!
