What GPS to get?

I got a Garmin with the traffic capability for 89 bux instead of paying the 79 for the new maps.This thing has street names and a highly accurate speedometer and tags the speedlimits within feet of the damn signs. I think I need to get one this weekend, since I start in Philly on Monday. I am really bad at navigating in the city. It's kinda ironic that I end up in Philly when I avoid going/driving there at all costs. I also kinda want to use it when I drive down to Virginia for Easter.

A friend of mine was just looking at a Tom Tom at bestbuy for like 140 bux that includes life time traffic and map updates. If thats correct it would be a good deal

Hmmm, my Best Buy did not have that deal. I went with the Garmin Nuvi (don't remember the model). It has lifetime map and traffic updates. I used it today to go to Great Adventure and it the traffic feature worked great. I avoided an hour delay (found out there was a bad accident and the road was partially closed). The next couple of days will be the real test for when I am driving through Philly.
