what hapen to my peppermint shrimp?

i dont know what happen to my peppermint shrimp but it has developed a big lump on one of its sides. im posting a picture but it not good quality at all.
it kinda looks like a shrimp version of a tumour.

how big is it? is it like hanging off the side of him? maybe he got bit or injured or something

it looks kinda like a blood blister that we would get. its still quite active but it just looks nasty.

I can't make anything out from the photo, but there are some shrimp-parasitizing isopods that might fit your description. I would try a google search for Epicaridae sp, eucarids, shrimp tumor isopods, or other similar strings and see if that might be the culprit.

it doesnt look like anything mentioned above. the shrimp does eat and moves around like normal with my other peppermint.
does anything look like a wart? its dark red and not see through like the rest of the shrimp's body.
