I am breaking down my 100 gallon tank and I am setting up a 30 gallon tank. I am going to list the items I have and I want you advice on what you would keep and use and what you would sell or buy.
I am going to be keeping a rose bubble tip anemone, 2 maroon clowns and a long nose hawk fish. (I might add other small corals in the future to make a mini reef)
I have the following: (including tank, stand, canopy, sand, rock)
1 Icecap 660 ballast for HO T5 bulbs
2 offbrand ballast for HO T5 bulbs
1 Fluval 404
1 Fluval 405
1 Prizm protein skimmer
2 hydor koralia # 3's
2 smaller powerheads I use for mixing water
What I was thinking about doing was use the 1 Icecap ballast to power 4 HO T5's
Use both Fluvals and add a suface skimmer to one, and use the protein skimmer.
Or would you sell the canister filters and get a sump/refugium?
Would you drill the tank or get a hang on overflow box.
I want to do this right the first time and not be second guessing myself. What would you guys do?
