What in the world are these?

I noticed what appeared to be a hair in my tank. I tried to grab it and it moved. My step daughter noticed a few more.
They have appeared to push pin sized tunnels out of my rock work and seem like worms. They only stretch out when I feed, and are white/clear. What are they and do I need to get them out?
Now there gone. Really weird,.

They are very skinny but there tunnel is just coming out of the rocks and looks very solid like you could just break the tunnel off.

def doesn't look like that at all. White/clear with the thickness of a human hair. I had them in my other tank but they never made a tunnel coming off the rocks before

Do you not like them? I doubt they're a problem for your tank, bnut if you don't like em I understand why you want them out.

I dont care if they stay but if they are harmful I want them out. From what I had read now that I think I know what they are there fine as long as they don't mess with my corals.

Yah from what I have heard most worms are pretty harmless. But I'd definetely go a bit further and make sure 100%.
