What is a Fuge

I think i know little but not really, can someone explain to me what a fuge is.

Definitely use the search engine on this one. You will be able to see not only how they work but how to build and incorporate one into your current tank.
Basically it is just a separate tank to help process out all the bad stuff using macroalgaes and a deep sand bed and sometimes some inverts.
