Hey guys,
I'm super new to this hobby, and everything looks SO cool!
i was wondering if this was a good deal on a used 24g nanocube:
tank with stand
rio 1100 pump
HQI top with "nanocustoms 2x18 actinic"
$300
and also if you forgot about the asking price, what would be a reasonable amount?
oh and is the hqi top even necessary? i would be just starting out!
Thanks! =]

its not a bad deal. Though my advice is if youre still really new to not jump in until you figure out exactly what you want in a tank.

im not going to lie, but that isnt so bad... i paid 350 for my 6 month old 28 nc with LS and some LR..how old is the tank? this way you have an idea about when you are going to have to change the bulb. obv try to get it as cheap as possible. with the Metal Halide HQI hood, you would be able to keep almost any coral. i am assuming it is 150 watts? whats bad about this tanks that sometimes it heats up so you either may need a chiller(100+) or a cooling fan (7 bucks)
