what is a nano tank

Most people see it as 30 gallons or less. I think its 20 or less. Basically, a fairly small tank.

Back in the old days it was less than 75 gal. Basically it's a moving target. It's a tank smaller than should be possible given the available technology. Less than 30 is widely accepted. In a very short time the number will probably drop again as the 10 and less are becoming so sucessful.

I think the "standard" idea of a nano is less than 30 ... some think tank some think total water volume. I am beginning to think it should be anything shorter than 4' long!
Also the idea of super small tanks is starting to get some movement towards being called pico tanks ....
