What is easier to take care of hard or soft corals?

Soft corals. They usually require less light and are just hardier than hard corals. From my personal experience I would definetely say that soft corals are easier.

I'll agree - soft corals are easier and I would recommend them to be the starting corals for anyone new to SW.

I would also recommend softies to beginners, but to be honest, some of the LPS species are easier to keep than some of the softies...HTH
