Okay, I bought a Xinia and upon the white lights turning off leaving the blue ultras to set the night effect. I noticed a white rat looking thing crawling in and out of the rock crevices
that my new plant came attached to. It looked just like a rat without the long tail. What the BLEEP.... Does anybody know what has hitched a ride? HELP!!!! Ocean beach Baby

Someone posted a picture of a hitchhiker that sounds like what you have in the last week. It's a fuzzy white crab. you may be able to find the post.

Do a search of "snow crab" Dadofnine posted the picture. It came up first. I sure hope you don't have it.

Thanks for the search sugestion. But this thing of mine really looks like a rat with out the tail. It does not have claws or them type of arms in has feet like a rat. Short and it moves fast. YUCK!!!

hey oceanbchbb, did you ever find out what that critter is? I've been checking this thread almost daily cos i am just as curious to know what that thing is. ***) sounds very cool yet yucky at the same time.

Hi Jeps,
At this point it is a mystery. I have talked to many people who have never seen anything like it so have I come to the conclusion that since it does not seem to be a threat YET!!! I should stop losing sleep. I'll tell you this has opened my eyes to a whole new world. Underwater... I have tried to snap a digital but it see's me and SNAP! it is gone. LOL... I do know for sure it is not a snow crab or any crab for that matter.
