WHAT is it on my substrate?????

Noticed something unusual on the substrate the other day: This may sound real stupid but, it's the best way I know to describe this thing. It's very small (I'd say about the size of a tack) & looks like a squid that's been buried up to it's neck w/only it's tentacles showing. Color is a light brown & it has stayed put in that one spot. Any ideas anyone???

Yes, it looks EXCACTLY like your photo only it's a little different color. Like I said before, w/my problem w/the green hair crap, I CERTAINLY don't need any more problems at this point )

Just looked @ my post & don't have a clue as to where that smiley face came from. Believe me, this is nothing to smile at!!!
