Came home from work and this worm was swimming all over. Has a pale yellow body, with a transparent head and tail. Transparent head is about 2/3 of an inch and tail about 1/4 of an inch. Its body is kind of flat but not, if that makes sense. It is about 2 1/2 inch long I would guess. Harmful? Leave in? Any one have and idea what it is? :notsure:

My yellow tang just ate a juvenile 1/4inch one of those things i think, read thread below, what a coincidence..

My clowns will go up to and act like they want to eat it, but then they leave it alone...wonder if I should take it out, or if it is a good worm?

Bristle worms aren't smooth. Even the small ones have bristles.
Emeralcrab, I'm not sore what that is.

Well it swam around for a long time, then went and hid somewhere. I hope that it is a good one to have in tank. I went on the thread with hitchikers and there wasn't anything that looked like it.

Leather is DEAD......I did a water change on Sat. and checked it, it fell apart, just crumbled away to dust....well kind of like dust.
I'm not having very good luck, I have another thread going on a frogspawn that I just got, it went though rough shipping I think plus poisoned? by a mushroom, I don't know. I am wondering WHY I decide to try corals....but my hairy mushrooms and other mushrooms are doing great. Other then the one that poisoned everything and then died.
So far my sebae anomone is doing good, although it spit out the little krill I gave it the other day.
Maybe I am just not meant to have some of these.
Thanks for checking on the leather tho.
