What is it?

I just found these two things on one of my rocks.
They are about half a cm tall and look like on of those models of the solar system...you know with the planets attatched to the sun by a coat hanger.
Except there a lot more "planets".
It is all white and well that was the desciption.
The "planets" form a perfect sphere shape.
If anyone knows please help!

Does it sort of grow in a network of tubes....with round nodes kind of spaced randomly along the branches.....may be a sponge....I've got several in my reef......kewl deals....don't cause a problem and are a part of the diversity of the reef...........don't need to be fed that I know of.....and don't appear to pollute the reef.......just part of the scenery......

They are in clusters of three or two.
They are growing out of a small orange spot.
Then there are the white stalks.
Up at the very top is this sphere shape that is made up of smaller white stalks all equal in length almost with little white knobs on the ends.
That is the best description possible.
