What is on my Yellow Tang? HELP!

Upon close inspection of my yellow tang, it has little dark dots on it. They are very tiny, but there are some scattered on its body. It has also been swimming around rubbing up against rocks, i assume to get them off. Is this a parasite? What can i do to help it? I have it in a reef with mushrooms, capanella, button polyps, star polyps. Will it affect any of my corals?
I have a coral banded shrimp, but i don't think it will pick off any parasites. Should i get a cleaner shrimp? Or something else to help?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

It sounds like "black ick", my success story with that dilemna included a neon goby and a cleaner shrimp. If that's what it is, it will not affect your corals. :)

Yep, sounds like black ick. My Yellow Tang broke out with it soon after I got him. I got a cleaner shrimp (very fun to watch him clean up the tang) and would put garlic on the nori I put in the tank. It took about two months and it all disappeared and I havn't seen any since.
Worth trying the easy things before you get too worried about putting him in a hospital tank or anything.
