What is the best Time/Controller on the market?

I have a 29gal reed tank and was thinking of upgrading my old plug-in power strip timer. I understand that a digital controller will control my lighting needs and then some... I would like to get something basic to start with, but would eventually like to add on/expand the unit when funds become available. I really like the online monitoring idea as well as the email alerts. I don't mind spending the money as ling as its quality. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

The Apex would be a good unit to check out. IMO the cream of the crop though is the Profilux controllers.

Thanks Shawn. That Profilux is really nice, but I think it is overkill for my setup. I am leaning towards the Apex, what do you think about the Apex JR.? I really just need the basics, but I would like to keep my expansion options open...

Not 100% sure but I don't think the JR. Has the email/alert option, so if you want the option to grow the Apex full version would be wiser IMO.

Sorry!!!! I stand corrected it does support alerts. I think the light would be a better starting point, but Apex units are nice regardless.
