What is the best way to mount CandyCane coral?

I have a question? A friend gave me a frag of candycane and trumpet coral.. These are both stalks that are quite heavy? How can I mount these to say a piece of LR where I want them to stay? right now I have the stalks wedged in between two pieces of LR.. I want to move them closer to the light at the top of the tank, but am unsure how to mount these stalks? Imagine if you would a piece of brocolli the stem is what I need help with? I wouldn't think you could glue something this heavy? Each frag has about 4 stalks of coral off the main rock stalk???
Can anyone offer me some help on mounting these things??
Thanks

you could use underwater epoxy and superglue, should work nicely, if not just jam them in between two rocks, they don't need a lot of light, and should be fine just about wherever you put them

Thanks? Hey does Home depot sell that stuff? I just read after posting this that some people use plumbers expoxy putty from home depot? Is this stuff OK? Safe??
Thanks

Hiya,
I've just jammed mine between some rocks and they're about mid way in my tank. My candy and hammer are already splitting.

Thanks, I will try to drill some LR and see if that works? Would like to get the plumbers epoxy putty to see if that holds as well?

there's an epoxy at home depot that works, it's like aqua something, I can't remember the name, but if you've got an lfs in your area you can check there, I'm sure they'll have some. also, make sure if you're buying epoxy at home depot you get the right kind, definitely don't wanna go tossing plumber's putty in the tank...
