What is This? (Anemone?)

I got some new live rock last week and when I woke up this morning I noticed this on some rock.
I was thing maybe some kind of anemone?

Any ideas?

What does that mean and what should I do?

Kill it! Remove the rock, and break that chunk off and throw it away. (safest way imo) Or use something like a med that kills pest anemones.

Ok, I will kill it.
But, just out of curiosity what would happen if I left it be?

It is a Majano anemone. If not dealt with most likely will spread to plague proportions. If you can take the rock our and scrape it and some of the rock underneath it off that would be the best way to get rid of it. It is really too bad because they do have some beautiful coloration to them.
