What is this black stuff?

HELP! this black algea started growing on my LR and now it looks like bubbles underneath it? I'm goin to get a pic bear with me. What do u guys think? and how do I get rid of it? oh and I have green hair so lil help with that would be good too TIA

should i order one from here or try ans see if my lfs's have one? I know my usual place doesn't have any I just went there. but the green hair is getting long and spreading and whatever this black is, is spreading fast too! does anyone have a clue what it might be?

Its black huh, its not a dark purple or magenta?

actually there is a spot that is dark purple but this spot is pretty black!

dark purple with bubbles under it is usually Cyno bacteria. It forms on area of low water flow. It can also occur if you over feed, especially if you overfeed flake fish food. I cut out the flake fish food and stuck with just Frozen and mine cleared up quickly and has never come back.

okay thx sounds like what we got! plenty of flow right there so it must be the flake! I will stop immediately!
