Anyone know what the name os this crab is?? and is it good or bad.

I can't think of the name of it off hand, but if those are zoanthids that it is putting its claws by.....get it out ASAP!!!
There is a brown crab that LOVES softies!

they are actually mushrooms. and i havent seen him bothering them at all. he just picks at the sand.

Funny, it kinda looks like a mini open brain or green carpet anemone.

yeah its a little hairy, but its not an emerald cause i have one. and it looks funny cause my lights are off.

Those are mushrooms, and that crab is similar to the gorilla crabs. They usually tend to go after fish or corals. Usually not beneficial, and recommend banishing him to the sump or taking him out in general

hmmm well ill try to get him out tonight. its probably going to be impossible since he lives in that rock..

Take out the rock and give it a short freshwater bath. It will come out.
