What is this good or bad?

I came home ant turned the lights on and saw this little guy what is it it looks like a star fish Is he good or bad should I remove him? Hes really cute. I added new rock about 3 weeks ago He must of came on it. Attachment 222408

As far as I know it eats detrius..etc...it probably came with the lr....but they multipy rather quick.....If you start to get a lot, you may want to toss some
