what is this growing on coral

It looks like an aptasia anemone. They are bad in my opinion. Look up an image search. If it is you need to kill it off. Spray boilin water with a syringe into its mouth or joe juice (product).

Maybe it's just me...but I could never do the boiling water thing...as soon as you pull the boiling water into the syringe...go to the fish tank...climb on the stool to get to the little bugger...all I'm doing is giving it a drink.

Joes juice or Aptasia X...works every time. Whatever you do...do not touch it, or try to dig it out, any disturbance will cause it to release spores, and it will spread like wildfire. Don't touch it with the syringe either, get close and squirt the JJ or Aptasia X right into the open disk.
