Well first off you have to go to the store and get some ammonia to make a cleaning solution which you have to pour into your tank. That stuff takes a little elbow grease to get off but if you can find some copper srubbing brushes it will work amazingly, but it can only be copper, after that your stuff will look like brand new and your tank will magically grow into a 125 gallon

Good luck!!

Wait!!!!
Is this tank set up? Is there life in it, or is it a tank you wish to clean before setting up?

If you're serious, it's coraline algae .. a plus for the tank. If you're not serious, see above posts.

Use the razor.... it won't scratch. Place the blade vertically AND scrape from left to right because of the bow. I have a few all-in-one cubes and it's what I use.
Yes there are plastic ones, but you'll have a hard time getting it off where it is so thick.

This is hilarious on so many levels. First, just look at that picture!!! Hahaha! To think people supplement Purple Up and all sorts of crap to grow coralline and this guy is completely lost and manages to grow it like this!!!
Second, people thought he was kidding! Look at his tank diaries - he aint kidding!!!
Last, that he continues to try is commendable (and funny)! I've never seen someone have so many problems yet he keeps pluggin away (half-assed, but plugging away!).
This post is priceless - please make it a sticky?

How is this helping in anyway except to discourage people from posting when they need help?

Oh my bad. Almost every other post on here was sarcastic and condescending in a backhanded kind of way.
Yet I tease him - only I'm forthright - and I'm the bad guy?
My bad, next time I'll pretend to be helpful while I make fun of the guy, like everyone else did.

Slacking would be a kind way to put it.

Agree with the others here a razor blade used as Cranberry outlined, vertically, and moved from side to side will indeed get this off of the tank. Of course in the future a regular schedule of cleaning the glass will prevent this type of buildup and the subsequent work involve in getting back to square one.
I use a magnet cleaned on the glass in my tank. i have one called a Nimble Nano, it's made from rare earth (read stronger than strong here) magnets. On the part that is inside the tank I peeled off the velcro that is used as the scraper and replaced it with some strategically super glued blue scrubby pad material. (not the sponge, just the scrubby material peeled off the sponge) It works great at getting even that hard to get green coralline off with little effort. Of course you need to keep up on it!!
Just some info here for you.

Says the round guy who told him to use ammonia in his tank...
His was a sarcastic joke that he posted thinking the OP was a joke. Your post on the other hand was more, how can I put this, just being a p3ni5. Love you though, no hard feelings.
