they have been splitting like crazy (10 at last count) in my 150g and im sure if they are going to hurt something. im not sure if the picture caught i but they all have a green dot in their center.

kalk injections is about the only thing that works on these little fellas. shrimp dont touch em...!

It does look like some type of aptasia anemone...or mojano/rock anemone. They can spread rapidly and pose problems in a reef system. They can be killed via a kalk paste injection. lus there are a few natural preadtors...I've had good luck with peppermint shrimp.:cool:

my wife wants me to keep them... to be honest they have not done any damage yet. im just worried because there is one really close to my candy coral and another really close to my deavils hand leather.

If you want to keep a few I suggest quaranteening them (Mojano anemonea) on a rock out in the middle of the sand bed away from other rocks. They will kill other corals and propogate very very fast.

i was thinking about killing all of them but one and putting them on a seperate rock. as sugested by bang guy. im just worried that they will "jump"

hey attml, ive been crazily busy with work (2 jobs and summer school doesnt leave me uch time for anything else) and since one of the guys at the lfs i work at quit i get to take on all of his maintenance contracts he had, which was pretty hefty!
