What is this? Pods???

I came in this evening and did my usual night diving in my 30g hex. This is a new tank, which is almost completely done cycling, and everything seems to be surviving well and happy. I added about 5 pounds of LR yesterday.
These "pods" are stuck to the glass apx. half way up the tank. They are yellow with a white outline, and are about 2-3mm across. Can anyone identify these? Current species in the tank are some random fish, hermit crabs, snails, and various reef species (anemones, sponge, feather dusters, etc.).
Thanks,
Champ

I'm not sure what is in the picture. But it is not "pods". They are itty bitty white creatures that resemble tiny bugs/fleas, and when they get bigger look like tiny shrimp.
Uh....do you own a shotgun????

The reverse side is slightly elevated, about 1mm or so, and white. They have not moved since last night, so I would assume they are some kind of egg... any ideas???

They have not seemed to move or change in size... The fish do not seem to bother them.
I have had freshwater snails that laid eggs but they always did it above the water level and the clutches were large numbers. I just want to be sure there is nothing scary I have to look forward to...

do they look like a snail shell with a little feathery thing coming out the end?
if it does look like this i have them everywhere and they are a type of crustation lfs told me good thing to have means your tank is healthy.

Interesting enough they do not look like a snail shell, just an elevated bump on the glass. They are not changing in size, shape or color, and have definately not moved. I just don't want some sort of outbreak of a dangerous species. I'm sure if that was the case, someone here would identify them quickly. I'll post pics as soon as it changes...

Many thanks Mandi for the advice.
The unknowns have not moved or changes since they appeared. But..... another set of 4 appeared this morning and 1 off by itself... How long have you left these things before scraping them off? Have you ever had anything hatch from them?
Thanks,
Champ

Okay, I started with 4, the next day had 8. This morning I counted 31 attached to the glass at random places... Should I worry now?

Assuming that this might be an egg of some type do you see any development in the original few that you have found?

The original "pods" are in exactly the same place, same size and appearance. The new ones look exactly the same and are just adding in numbers.

Someone mentioned to me the possibility of them being barnacles? Interesting thought... has anyone ever had new barnacle growth on their glass?
