I can't really tell from the picture, but it looks like it could be a brissle worm and they are beneficial to your tank. Clean up crew. Is it a worm?

That is a brissle worm. They are ok to keep, but keep an eye after the tank lights are out and make sure your not infested with a ton of them. Otherwise they just forage for leftover food or anything in your sandbed.

If it bothers you, take it out. I personally don't want them in my tank, but alot of people think they are a beneficial part of your clean up crew. Just becareful and try not to touch it because those little hairs are brissles and they sting
like a grabbing a wire brush. Good luck on whatever you decide.

Good. brissle worms are horrible. they will eat all your fish and infest your tank over night. if they infest your tank you have 2 dump everything and they will never leave or die unless you do.

...What?
Bristle worms are a good thing to have in your system. They're a great add-on to your clean-up crew. If you don't want it in there, you can take it out, but they're very beneficial filter-feeders. They can get pretty big, but I wouldn't consider removing it until it does so.
