bad for reef tank, get peppermint shrimp or coperband buterfly.. they will take care of it for you.. or just squirt some thick kalkwaser mixture over it. it will melt right away. joe juice might work too..

If you are talking about using the Joe's juice, yes it is safe. Comes with a syringe type applicator so you can be very targeted with it's application. Do a few one day then a few a couple of days later and so on until they are gone. Instructions will tell you exact application.

this reminds me of one of my first posts on another forum just a few years ago. "i bought this piece of live rock and i got a free anemone!"
i would kalk paste them one by one. i don't think a peppermint shrimp is going to help you in this advanced stage of colonization. after you've nuked them all, then get a couple peppermint shrimp for maintenance.

I have this problem myself. Joe's Juice does the trick. I would use Joe's Juice first on a couple of the Aips per day and then add one or two peppermint shrimp for the clean up work. Joe's Juice is harmless to your tank...just don't use too much at once.

joes juice should be administered according to directions. if i'm not mistaken, it needs to be targeted at each creature. it's not something you just pour into the tank.

After I asked my lfs guy what kind of coral is that in his coral
tank he pulled out a syringe drew some paste into it and squirted
each one directly in the mouth. He said should be gone tommorrow.
They did go away. As Mr. X suggested target is the way. I got some
pepps for my problem but I only had a couple and it worked.
