What is this white stuff?

ive have this live rock i bought off an established tank for about a month and a half now. when looking closely at the rock today, i noticed 2-3 small (about 1.5" across on the bigger one) patches of white "web" looking stuff on my LR. any idea what it could be? i have no fish that make webs. it looks very similar to the cacoons you see up in trees, if you know what im getting at. please let me know if its a sign of something bad.
this is a fowlr tank, no anemones

whew! thats relief! they spread fast? cause any problems?
NOPE...cause no problems.....I have loads in my 54G...a few in the 225G..and maybe 1 in the 29G.....so it all depends on the tank on how they spread
