thats the best picture i have...closed it looks like how gsp looks...it has the stalks....could it be sea pen???

Sorry, can't help. Without a better image it is very difficult to identify. Maybe someone else will may have a stab/guess at it.

Is it like this? Mine use to have long tentacles but they arn't as big any more I don't know why but, I am pretty sure It's called an encrusting gorgonian.

I like mine but I havn't noticed much growth on it at all. It's stayed pretty much the same. I got mine cheap b/c the LFS didn't know what it was either.

I gotta agree with that. I have one as well, but it lacks the long tentacles.
Mine was growing pretty good until I had a pH spike. Now its unhappy and has not grown at all.
