ok...well after my bubble coral fell today I had to redo some rock work to get it to stay in place. While moving some rocks in the sand, I found thing green thing that looks like a chili peper! after pushing it to the side I noticed it was moving...after a few seconds it was streaching all out wiggling along the sand! Freaky I must say...since I had no idea what it was I threw it in my refigium where it burried itself rigt under the sand within minutes. Any idea what this thing is or where it came from?? THanks guys!

I could tell you what it looks like in the second pic but i'm sure you can figure it out....i'd say a sea cucumber but i've rarely seen them not attached to LR
is it a hard shell like thingy? or all soft? how fast does it move ..need more info

it was about 1" when I found it but it streached out over 3". I have an Atlantic Cucumber and it looks nothing like it. It was soft...its you can see its internal organs as it moved. I am pretty sure its not a sea squirt, all the ones Ive ever seen ahve been attacked to a rock...it moved a little faster then my cucumber, but it went right underneth the sand. I am really clueless as to what this thing is!! should I take it out of my refugium?
