what is this

I have white things in my tank. I am not sure where they came from. at first I only saw one but now I see at least ten. They are white and fuzzy, they look almost like a long cotton ball or q-tip top. at the end of them they have a small hole w/ a fan like thing that looks like a type of pollyp or feather duster. Does anyone have any ideas, is it possible they could be bad. any help or suggestions would be great.

it could be a tube worm...mine came on the live rock i have in the tank...not a big fan of them but most of the people i have talked to said they aint going to hurt anything as they are filter feeders and look like tiny feather dusters

the end or tip is the only plce where it fans it look like a white cotton ball. I do have some feather dusters and these guys dont look anything like them any other thoughts

its called a cue tip sponge
