What is this ?

I have tiny white things appearing on glass and live rock. They are hard and scrape off glass hard. They are about a 1/16 inch in size and are shaped like a donut but don't quite connect to complete the full circle.

They are not a problem. How new is your tank? They are common in new tanks and usually go away after a while.

Is this a new tank? If so, you don't need to do anything. They are okay and will slowly go away.

they are actually a sign of a healthy tank I wouldnt worry about them to much they are a pain sometimes but part of the tank.
