What is this?

I have about an inch long white tube growing out of some live rock. Sometimes it has a short bunch of hair like stuff sticking out of it. Does anyone know what it is?

a baby feather duster. They are a type of worm. Filter feeder - good to have.

feather dusters are filter feeders. they are worms that live in the tubes and use the feathers to catch food. the are completely safe dont worry about them. check out the pic is that what they look like i have a ton of them
