It looks like red mushrooms and feels like them too.... Just want to be sure!

Looks like a colony of mushrooms. Could be some type of algae from the pattern but I'm leaning toward mushroom.

i had the same thing! only mine was in purple. i moved around some rocks and it turned near the back i can c it anymore.

Here is an updated picture of this mystery stuff. Any ideas would be great. I still think it looks pretty neat.
