What is this?!

I purchased some new live rock last week and I have this little thing growing out of one.
I'm thinking its a plant?
Anyone know what it is?
It's a reef tank with T5HO lighting so it's probably easy for something to grow.
Any and all help is much appreciated!


Seems cool and harmless, if anyone has any ideas I'd love to know!

Aiptasia Anemone. They are very prolific and that makes them a pest.

That is what I would do. Look up "Aiptasia" for ideas. Using a turkey baster to squirt boiling water on it can work but there are a lot of ways.
Do not try to smoosh it or you will end up with hundreds of them.
